Cross Country Regionals at McPherson

Our girls cross country team placed 2nd with a tie breaker against Buhler, they’re on their way to state on the 28th! CHS Students Attend KSU’s All-State Choir Prep Day

By Emma Frieze   On September 16th, 2017, 12 members of CHS choirs attended All-State Choir Prep Day at Kansas State University with teacher Mrs. McGuffin. The clinic ran from 9 am to 5 pm and was lead by the university’s two co-directors of Choral Studies, Dr. Oppenheim and Dr. Yu-Oppenheim. Chapman High School established Tri-M Chapter #3005 in the 1998-1999 school year with 36 members. Cross Country at South East Saline

By Adrianna Welsh   Chapmans XC team competed at SouthEast Saline on September 22. Our boy competitors were, Chance Ores, Shaun Blocker, James Butler, Tye Paluso, Mitchell Tiller, Ethan Diercks, Chance Hayden, Daniel Klukas, Tyler Dalke, Kaden Stalder, and Ethan Anderson. At the meet we had one Chapman male competitor place in the top 20’s. Cameron Ores placed 12th, with a time of (12:12.45).   For our girl competitors, we had Taylor Briggs, Madison Smith, Lindsey Anderson, Maddie Elliott, and Madison Simpson.

Volleyball at Silver Lake

By Renee Milleson Lady Irish traveled to Salt Lake on Saturday September 30th, to compete in a volleyball tournament. The Lady Irish beat Royal Valley 25-18 in their first game, fell short in their second game 19-25, and came back to win 25-13.
